The Stitching Begins Again

Happy New Year One and All!

So far this year, Quilts of Valour Ottawa has presented 8 quilts to honour our servicemen and women! We are off to a busy start!

Our first sew-day of the year is this Tuesday, January 10 from 9:30 to 3:00 at CannaConnect (215 Menten Place). Remember to bring your sewing machine (and power cord), basic tools (thread, scissors, seam-ripper) and your lunch. Brigid and Christine will be there to guide us through this month’s quilt tops.

I think Claire will be joining us with a few treats from the online store for those of you who would like to augment your stash.

The National (Virtual) Sew Day will be returning on Friday February 3 from 12:00. You can register online by going to the Quilts of Valour website.

The season of blustery winds, icy roads and bone-chilling temperatures is upon us. It sounds like a good opportunity to retreat to the sewing studio to play with fabric and thread.

Stay Safe! Happy Stitching,

Nancy
