I hope you are all keeping busy during these “brisk” January days. I am truly fortunate that my sewing room is the warmest room in the house, so when the days get “brisk”, I retreat to the sewing room.
It was looking so good for an in-person sew-day, and then it wasn’t. With the climbing numbers, and the growing restrictions, it seems in the best interest of everyone that we postpone the January 18 sew-day. I am disappointed — I had all the fabric cut and everything! I was so looking forward to hearing the hum of conversations and sewing machines.
The National Sew-Day is coming up on Friday February 4. It will be a virtual event again and registration will be posted soon. Some space will be available on Zoom with overflow space on Facebook Live.
Presentations continued into January, but have been put on hold. Outdoor presentations are manageable to a point, but -20 gets a little brisk!
Stay warm! Stay Safe! Happy stitching,
Nancy
